Concept

Throughout history mankind has plundered the resources of this planet; just because they could, just because of greed. In the not so distant future, water will become the next endangered resource. Taken for granted by many, and fouled by the majority, 'clean' water is fast becoming scarce. In this artwork a stone washing machine symbolizes mans outdated approach to cleaning; the oceans being used as the cesspit of the world. The Arctic skyline reminds us that natural purity and beauty once existed. Out of sight out of mind, does not absolve us of our moral responsibilities.
